BACKGROUND: King Kaliente is a large boss enemy in Super Mario Galaxy. He resembles an orange octopus and is most likely related to Bloopers. He is the king of the Cosmic Blooper enemies encountered in the game. He appears twice as a boss, once in the Good Egg Galaxy and again in Bowser Jr.'s Lava Reactor. In the second battle, he is much darker and has red eyes.
