STRENGTHS: Good at long range attacks, hard to hit in SMB3. In PM:TTYD, they can hit you and your partner at the same time.
WEAKNESSES: Hates jump attacks, easy to hit with projectiles in SMB3.
BACKGROUND: Boomerang Bros are relatives of the Hammer Bros that have mastered the art of throwing and catching boomerangs (if you can call that art). After being disgraced at the hands of Mario, Bowser banished the Boomerang Bros. to the Beanbean Kingdom, where they are now thriving in Gwarhar Lagoon. They also seem to enjoy aerobics, meaning they are now slimmer and taller.
EVOLUTION:
In Super Mario bros 3, they are basically Hammer Bros that throw Boomerangs, and their skin is usually green.
In Mario and Luigi they have had some exercise running from mad Elite Troopas and are now slimmer and taller, but just as efficient with the Boomerangs.
In Paper Mario: TTYD, they are Hammer Brothers with grey shells.
