BACKGROUND:
These monstrous spiders are the most aggressive predators in Land's End. They are black and green with bright magenta eyes and carry dangerous venom. Spinthras have been at war with the crafty Shogun ants for many years, Shoguns are a favourite meal for the Spinthras, and aggressive, territorial fighters.
Interestingly, Spinthras do not attack Geckits. It is believed that the Geckits
have developed a special poison that makes them deadly for these spiders to eat,
and the two species can sometimes be seen cooperating to take down prey for
Spinthras!
Spinthras are wild and fairly dangerous to unprepared adventurers. Luckily they
are rather solitary creatures, and they are more often seen with the relatively harmless Geckits than other Spinthras.
