BACKGROUND: These monkeys appeared around the time Mario and Luigi were babies, and they lived in the jungle ponds. When Kamek and Baby Bowser kidnapped Baby Luigi, Kamek hired these monkeys to attack the Yoshis, By spitting seeds and jumping at them.
Grinders seem to have a tough skull, as they don't seem to be immediately defeated after a jump on the head.
