BACKGROUND: Morton Koopa Jr is also known to some as Big Mouth, for good reason. Morton's favourite hobby is talking, and often gives the other Koopalings headaches. Morton is the only Koopaling with brown scales and has a grey star on one side of his face, possibly a birthmark or scar. He is often a grouch and not a morning person. He has appeared alongside his siblings in several games and is probably the most distinguishable. Morton is believed to be named after Bowser’s grandfather, Morton Koopa. Morton was the second Koopaling boss in Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario World.
