BACKGROUND: DK Jr. is Cranky Kong's son. One day, Cranky got captured by Mario and was trapped in a cage. The young primate DK Jr. rescued his own father from the big-bad-plumber and went home with a bannana reward.
Many years later, he grew to the Kong we all know today: DONKEY KONG!!

EVOLUTION: As a young lad, Donkey Kong Jr. wore a white muscle shirt. He grew up to be the big gorilla we know and love today.
