BACKGROUND: Love Bubbles inhabit the remains of Toad Town after the attack by the Shroobs in the Mushroom Kingdom's past. They also appear on Star Mountain and certain areas of the Star Shrine. The origin of these creatures are unknown but it is clear that they work for Princess Shroob.
