BACKGROUND: Tarantox is an enormous, insectoid boss that inhabits the Sticky Planet of the Space Junk Galaxy. Hibernating in a giant cocoon, it awaits Mario. It has several orbs on it's body that produce a powerful stream of toxin, and apparently, keep it alive. Tarantox has three large eyes, a pair of tiny wings, suction cup feet, and a Snifit-like snout like most aliens in this game. Whether it is related to the Electrogoombas is unknown.
