BACKGROUND: The Sandworm is the guardian of Greenhorn Ruins. He sleeps in his quicksand pit at the heart of the ruins. After he was defeated by Wario in the ruins he retreated to the pits of Pecan Sands. Waiting there for Wario he was eventually defeated by Wario and was defeated for good.
