BACKGROUND:
Under the influence of Smithy, one of Bowser's Magikoopas used his
magical powers to bring the remains of a bunch of long-extinct turtles
back to life from inside Barrel Volcano. In fact, these creatures may
be the ancestors of modern Koopas. This makes Vomers very much like Dry
Bones, but not an actual relative.
As far as appearance goes, they look a lot like some Dry Bones. They
have no footwear but still walk on their hind legs. After Smithy was defeated,
the Magikoopa's spell dissipated and the Vomers don't seem to be active
anymore.
