STRENGTHS: They can't be hurt by eggs because they just shoot them back at you, and the and the Grunt has a spiked helmet.
WEAKNESSES: Have no defense against jump attacks, and the grunts have no defense
BACKGROUND: They have only been in one game but there seems to be several variations of basically the same character: the Slugger, Pitcher and the Grunt. After Super Mario World 2 this species became extinct because Kamek left the area and stopped feeding them...they were too interested in baseball to travel to a place with more food so they died off.
